Yes, Lord! My life is in YOUR hands.

Lord, You had Isaiah write: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him” (Is 64:4).
Then Paul wrote, as led by You: “But we know these things because God has revealed them to us by His Spirit, and His Spirit searches out everything and shows us even God’s deep secrets. No one can know what anyone else is really thinking except that person alone, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. And God has actually given us His Spirit (not the world’s spirit) so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us … we can understand the things, for we have the mind of Christ.” (v 9-12, 16 NLT)
Father, You make it possible for me to KNOW You, to really know You. When I became Your child, You moved into my heart; Your Spirit has made His home in me. It’s by Your Spirit that You give me understanding of “the wonderful things” You’ve freely given to all Your children.
In Isaiah’s time, Your Spirit did not live in the hearts of Your people. Under the old covenant, people had to go through the high priest to communicate with You. But when Jesus came, He became both my sacrifice and my high priest He made a clear path for me to have access to You. Even more, as He left this earth, He promised that a Counselor would come be with me forever — “the Spirit of truth.” Jesus said, “…you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you” (John 14:15-17).
Thank You for Your presence with me. How comforting to know that EVERY little and big thing I face isn’t really what “I face,” but rather, it’s what “We face” together, Father. Thanks for allowing me to understand Your Word, Your will, and Your ways. Continue to purify my heart and make me just like Jesus. Amen.
